Both the federal and provincial governments have done nothing to improve the deplorable condition of the remote areas of Balochistan. Residents do not have access to clean drinking water and proper food. Lack of hospitals and shortage of doctors have also created more miseries for the people.
Owing to the lack of medical facilities, more than 500 pregnant women die every year in the province. The provincial government must take concrete steps to improve the condition of the region.
