Two more people who were injured in the bomb blast on Tuesday night breathed their last at a hospital on Wednesday, bringing the death toll to four.
Bilal and Hashim had suffered injuries in the explosion near People’s Chowrangi in Federal B Area and were admitted to the Aga Khan University Hospital.
Police said both the deceased were supporters of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and residents of Buffer Zone in North Nazimabad Town.
Two other supporters of the party injured in the blast, Saad Siddiqi and Ashfat, had expired on Tuesday night.
The explosion was so powerful that it was heard at places several kilometres away from the site. Windowpanes of nearby buildings were also shattered. Besides, cars and motorcycles parked in the area were also damaged.
