Crushed to death

PAKPATTAN: A 10-year-old boy was crushed to death in accident at Chak Ghausnagar on Sunday.

 

Ali Hasnain, son of Muhammad Jehangir, was playing in fields when a speeding tractor hit him. As a result, he was seriously injured and was being shifted to DHQ Hospital but he died on the way.

 

SUFFOCATION CLAIMS LIFE: A workshop owner died of suffocation while his two workers fell unconscious at Bridge Rakh on Saturday night.

 

Abid Hussain, owner of the workshop, and his workers Irfan and Adnan slept inside the workshop after starting generator due to power loadshedding. In the meantime, due to smoke of the generator, Abid died of suffocation while Irfan and Adnan fell unconscious. They were shifted to DHQ Hospital Sahiwal in critical condition.

 

2 ABDUCTED: Two people were abducted in separate incidents here on Sunday.

 

Five accused including Wakeel allegedly abducted married daughter of Muhammad Yaseen from Mohallah Faridnagar along with gold ornaments and cash. Sebven accused including Tariq Nadeem allegedly abducted Abdul Razzaq from fields at Chak 74-EB. Police have registered separate cases.

 

JUP WANTS NIZAM-E-MUSTAFA: JUP candidate for NA-165 Rao Azmatullah Khan has said that the party has nominated 210 candidates for national and provincial assembly seats in the country.

 

Talking to media here on Sunday, he said that the JUP wants to implement Nizam-e-Mustafa in the country. He said that Ulema and traders had announced to support him in the elections.

 

DACOITY: A dacoity incident was reported here on Sunday.

 

Four dacoits entered the house of Muhammad Ahmad at Chak 22-KB and looted a bike, cash and other valuables. Police have registered a case.

 

Shahbaz due in Pakpattan tomorrow

PAKPATTAN: PTI Chairman Imran Khan will arrive here on April 25.

 

During his visit, he will address a public gathering at Railway Ground. Meanwhile, PTI candidate for NA-165 Mian Ahmad Raza Manika said that the PTI would clean sweep the elections.
