There are many issues in Pakistan, but the main issue faced by people living in rural areas is the lack of hospitals. Many people are still deprived of both outdoor and indoor medical treatment because the number of hospitals, doctors and medical stores is insufficient in rural areas.
This is because of lack of funding in health institutes and an absence of proper policy regarding healthcare in the country. The other reason is that doctors are not willing to go to rural areas because the lesser developed areas cannot offer the doctors a comfortable life. Because of this, poor people have to move towards urban areas for treatment. There are some NGOs that provide basic treatment, but it is not enough. The government must take action and allocate more funds to the healthcare department.
