Social media was unforgiving towards Khloe Kardashian, accusing her of ‘cultural appropriation’ after the reality television star shared an image of herself supporting a niqab — a traditional Muslim veil.
The image shared on Instagram showed a close up of Khloe’s eyes with her head and face veiled during her recent visit to Dubai. Shecaptioned the image “Habbi love”.
The photo sparked debate on Twitter. While many claimed it was disrespectful to Islam, others questioned why she wasn’t receiving the same judgment as other women who wear niqabs face.
Khloe Kardashian has gotten beyond embarrassing now. She needs to go educate herself. Muslim women don't wear the Niqab to look fashionable.

If she was in Dubai and had to cover herself..why doesn't she say that. Does she have to IG the shit like it's fashion? Idgi

Someone slap the cultural appropriation out of Khloe Kardashian for making the niqab into a fashion statement.

Some even questioned why Khloe wasn’t judged for wearing a niqab like Muslim women are:
Amusing how everyone is okay with khloe kardashian wearing a niqab but when muslim women do it they're constantly abused and judged for it

@platinumhalsey and like the general idea of it is just extremely rude- to me, as a muslim. My mum gets told the most insensitive racial-
