While the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro has developed a credible reputation as an institution with sound teaching techniques. Unfortunately, its system of awarding certificates is tedious and has created problems for students.
I applied to have my CGPA converted into percentage on December 8, 2017. The process took more than a week. Owing to the delay in issuing the certificate, I was unable to apply for the master’s programme in MUET because the deadline was December 19. This is not first time that I have faced this problem. Similar issues arose when my friends and I tried to obtain our final-year marksheets and pass certificates. We were not entertained by the concerned officer of the examination department at (MUET) when we tried to approach him. The vice-chancellor of MUET is requested to look into this matter and expedite the process of providing certificates.
